Industry Days
What it is?
Students are given the opportunity to visit companies in their local area or throughout the region. The aims of the visits vary, groups may look at issues surrounding recruitment and selection or the marketing, sales or production processes of the organisation.
Who is it for?
Year Groups 10 & 11.
Aim
To increase students awareness of the world of work by visiting local companies with a specific brief. This activity also gives students the opportunity to develop their communication/team building and presentation skills.
Duration
Usually a full day event.
